I know of nowhere else to obtain so many thought-provoking and Biblical messages. The talks and sermons that I have listened to from this site have been of great benefit to me in my Christian walk. I have recommended this site to countless others. There are many men and women who will truly be 'eternally grateful' for sermons they have listened to from Sermonaudio. I count myself among them. Thank you!
Afterwards, I looked at other surveys, and I realized that they already had all the answers, and it left me feeling that I had been "used" to frame their arguments. Many were kind, and ultimately stated the truths as I understand them, but, nonetheless left me feeling "yucky."
Nevertheless, I really appreciate great teaching from the pastors I have listened to on SA, and the ultimate truths presented in summation of the surveys. God Bless.
I only wish that the limit on characters were raised. Sometimes it's hard to develop an idea adequately in a paragraph or two.
As for criticisms of this forum as being too biased in favor of the Reformed view, they are without merit. The editors are entitled to their own take on Christianity, and if someone finds Reformed theology unpalatable, he can always find other sites more to his liking. Nowadays it is Reformed Christians, not the disciples of Joel Osteen or "mainstream" evangelists, who are a beleaguered minority.

There are many puritan authors whose names do not appear on that list and yet many of their writings are widely available on this website, such as Archibald Alexander, Thomas Brooks, etc.
Mainly what I intended in my request was the Puritans or the Reformers.
Perhaps another category would be more prudent. I admit that I may have missed it, or I just don't know the best method of doing a "author" search. I guess I just want "fast access" without having to go through all of the sermons which are of no interest to me; not that they have no value to anyone else.
TLW, You seem to indicate that you are aware of my having been away for awhile, and so I have been. May I ask, do I know who you are? I don't recall seeing your moniker until I recently returned.

This is of particular interest to me and it is diffcult to sort them out. Having searched through some of the media available there are many great authors who would fit into that catagory...Thanks, Alan H
Thanks,

Praise the Lord for Sermonaudio...i have been encouraged, edified, challenged, rebuked, etc. by 66 preachers whom i have not heard before !
What a blessed (ad)venture this has been, and i am now thinking of a new odyssey to go on, using Sermonaudio.
May the Lord be pleased to bless all who contribute, preach, listen , to the sermons here,..and for the staff who work on this site.
I have added a comment of encouragement to each sermon i have heard...and thank the 5 (sadly, though, only 5 out of 66) dear brethren whom have had the decency to return thanks for that.)
Most interestingly, my first sermon was *Noah found grace * in Genesis ,and in the last five minutes of the sermon from Revelation ,in speaking of the rainbow around the throne of God, the speaker said * Noah found grace*.Amazing !
With love in the Saviour,Norm.
I feel that the reformation view is being very over represented. There are so many different Christian beliefs, I'd like to be able to hear from more of them. Mostly because I absolutely do not agree with the Calvinist teachings.
The survey commentaries need to be monitored more, also. I have found that anyone with a different opinion is not given a fair chance to speak. Instead they are bombarded with derogatory comments from supposed Christians.
I also feel that the information provided by SermonAudio is quite lacking. When wanting meat I have only found very weak milk.
Thank you for letting me share my feelings!

I agree. I did however learn a lot. I learned that polygamists are more vocal than what I had ever heard before. I also learned the technicus terminus for gluteus maximus.
