As of yesterday, 10/20, we seem to have the last of the details put together for our Reformation Day Conference. The Friday evening messages by Revs. Fred Greco and John Owen Butler of the PCA will be preceded by a covered dish dinner in which the members of the church will host our out of town visitors.
There will be a breakfast on Saturday AM followed by messages from Drs. Gary Crampton and Roger Schultz. Lunch will be a catered barbecue by Dickie's Barbecue. After lunch there will be messages by Drs. Robert LaMay and Edwin Elliott. After the PM lectures, we will go to Torera's restaurant and indulge ourselves in some Tex-Mex. That should get all of us home in plenty of time to prepare for the Sabbath the following day.
On the Lord's Day, 29 October, Dr. Richard Bacon will speak in the AM worship service, followed by lunch. Dr. Crampton will speak again during the PM worship service and the day and the conference will be completed by a 5:00 PM lecture on "Semper Reformanda" by Dr. Bacon.
We hope to see many of our readers and listeners at the conference. There is no charge for the conference, but donations will be accepted to help defray costs.
