The Reformation Day Conference is shaping up nicely. The brochure and web announcement are ready to go. The brochure is at the printers and the web page has been designed. When it is "up," you will be able to find it at http://www.fpcr.org and then click on the link.
The conference will run from Friday evening, October 27th through Lord's Day evening, October 29th. The speakers will cover the "rallying cries" of the Protestant Reformation, viz. "Solus Christus," "Sola Scriptura," "Sola Fide," "Sola Gratia," "Soli Deo Gloria," and "Semper Reformanda."
The scheduled speakers include:
Rev. Fred Greco (PCA) Rev. John Owen Butler (PCA) Dr. W. Gary Crampton (RPCGA) Dr. Roger Schultz (Liberty University) Dr. Robert LaMay (RPCNA) Dr. Edwin Elliott (RPC Hanover) Dr. Richard Bacon (yours truly)
There will be no charge for attendees of the Conference, but donations to help defray expenses will be received. Our website should soon contain a list of hotels near to the church and our regular worship services will be in the context of the conference. Dr. Bacon will preach in the Lord's Day AM service and Dr. Crampton will preach in the Lord's Day PM service.
