“ Great Sermon! ” Thank you! We absolutely need to hear what Christ went through prior to and while on the cross. We tend to sanitize the whole ordeal, and most preachers I have heard don’t get into this type of detail. Makes me even more appreciative of what Christ went through and my total unworthiness. I need to hear this at least twice a year as a reminder. Thanks again.
“ Watchfulness ... 'Set an alarm every hour' ” Hourly alarm doomed to failure. Continuous alarm is the means of success. We take EVERY thought captive to make it obedient to Christ - 2 Corinthians 10:5 ... Sounds impossible but once we take our thoughts captive to Christ 1)Our Quantity Thought Count Decreases dramatically 2) Our Quality of Thoughts Increases dramatically ... Note this is a Daily War an Hour to Hour War Minute to Minute War Second to Second War and there are no vacations or sabbaticals. Beauty is our walk with Christ then becomes a Delightful walk. Fight on Brother and Sisters!
“ Marriage ” If common law marriage is valid because gov't recognizes it; then does that mean same sex union is valid because gov't recognizes it?
Ultimately, the only valid marriage is the one that God biblically recognizes.

“ keep up the great work ” I agree with so much that you say. On this issue however I have to side with Matt Chandler. I will never know the bond of motherhood because I'm not a woman. I won't look down on planet earth from outer space because I'm not an astronaut. Perspective AND experience has an unfathomable amount of influence on our presupposition. If I've never known racial profiling it won't weigh as heavy on my opinions. If I've suffered from it, it may tend to be THE determining factor in decisions, such as chiming in on Ferguson or remain silent or delay my response. I listen to AFR almost exclusively, I burn a lot of data on sermon audio and one place as well. The one thing I can not for the life of me grasp is when racially charged situations such as this arise there is an almost immediate jump to defend the non-black by program hosts. I'll mention Trevon because you did. Zimmerman created an atmosphere for violence. He was told to stand down by police. Because he didn't a young man died. Brother he walked Scott free! Back to the issue. Would you give the let's wait and see mentality to an accused multiple child molester? Brother also why don't you speak out about black on black crime outside of these situations. “ Great Sermon! ” Very interesting! When I was a new believer, someone asked me "what is the difference between most bathing suits and walking around in underwear?" I am a mom of multiple sons so attending public swimming pools are not usually an option for us. I am trying to teach them to see girls/women as people and to discern how our culture treats them as objects. Also, to understand why some females seem to desire to be treated as an object (I used to be one of them)and to have compassion for these people.
