“ Great WSC serie! ” I highly recommend this series by Pastor Brink on the Westminster Shorter Catechism. He does a fantastic job both expositing the catechism and applying it to today. He also effectively addresses false teachings. All episodes are under 50 minutes long, making it easy to work through the series quickly.
“ Excellent Exposition ” I especially enjoyed the discussion of "begotten" with respect to Jacob/Esau, Manasseh/Ephraim, and how that has to do with inheritance and not a temporal priority (firstborn), thus by good and necessary consequence we can say the Son being begotten does not entail temporality or beginning as generation or creation would.
“ Great series! ” Pastor Brink does an excellent job defending Presbyterianism from Scripture. While many attempt to support their own ecclesiology by isolating individual passages, Pastor Brink demonstrates how Presbyterianism is supported by the New Testament as a whole. In the most recent episode, he also addresses church history, highlighting how the earliest Church Fathers affirmed the existence of only two offices: pastors (or elders) and deacons. Highly recommended!
“ Edifying ” I gain so much from Pastor Weaver’s sermons! I just need to know where I can send a tithe. It’s highly unusual to have to run down a preacher to hand him some money. I like that too.
“ Very Helpful ” Your series on the 5th commandment is the best exposition of this topic I have ever heard. It is immensely helpful and I have listened to it more than once. I praise God for your faithful ministry.
