Great Sermon! “Listen, perish the thought of that silly idea where people say, ‘Well God won’t give you more than you can handle.’ Yes, He will! And He does. He gives you way more than you can handle. Why? Because He wants it to drive you to Him… Because He wants intimacy with you. He sent His Son to die for you, and He wants you to come close… He wants you to get to know Him, because He knows that in knowing Him, you’ll find the greatest amount of pleasure you’ll ever find.â€
Thank you Jesus for saving my dad. The miracle of salvation still happens through the sovereign regeneration of almighty God in His time, not ours. No one is outside of the reach of God. His patience & power are here exercised in a unique display on one of the hardest cases I’ve ever witnessed. “Then who can be saved? With man it’s impossible, but with God all things are possible.†Matt 19:24-26.
Solid teaching! We all need faith to draw water out of the well of salvation in obedience to the Lord to let Him turning water into wine. This sermon itself is a vivid example of the how the Lord can turn water into wine through the faithful preaching of His word. Thank you pastor for bringing out the point that Jesus came to transform the water of dead religion into wine of new life and that He came to replace the old covenant with the new covenant. Thank you so much for preaching.
Great Sermon! Such an encouraging message just to be reminded of who Jesus is and all the miraculous things Jesus has done while on earth! Amen to that there is no nonsupernatural Jesus in history and that Jesus is too hot to handle for the secular standard that if we admit Jesus lived which is absolutely certain, we either bow down to him as Lord or we spit on him and kill him when we get to look at his words and what he did. Good apologetics and wonderful teaching! A sermon really worth listening to.
Great Sermon! Sermons are liked to a cup of cold water.. Hope to the hopeless, Healing to the lame in body & spirit, and food for our souls..challenging and inspiring us for whatever lies ahead, individual and universal....facing new frontiers for Christ. Blessings,
Great Sermon! Kyle Reeder is a gifted teacher and great evangelist. God is blessing SRBC as they strive for doctrinal faithfulness to the historic Christian faith. Pray for this congregation!
