Great Sermon! If you have yet to hear a sermon by Pastor Mourreale I want to encourage you to listen to this one. Our family was especially moved to worship by last weeks striking message from Acts, about unity within the body of Christ.
What was Paul willing to do for the sake of unity in the body. In 1 Corinthians 9 he says “For though I am free from all, I have made myself a servant to all, that I might win more of them.” In Acts 21:17-26 we see this played out as Paul humbles himself to the elders and gives us a clear example of what it means to become a servant to all for the sake of gospel unity. Because, as Pastor Mourreale points out, the gospel is greater than our cultural differences.
Our family has been greatly encouraged by our fellowship at Covenant Reformed Church in West Plains. We are incredibly blessed to be apart of this wonderful mission work of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church. If you are at all interested in the faithful teaching and preaching of the word of God, please come join us for worship at Covenant Reformed. 220 N Kentucky Ave, West Plains, MO
