“ Great Sermon! ” Loved this sermon. Great idea to trace out God's sovereign dealings in the world as events which run contrary to man's design. I love God's sense of irony. I was encouraged as you reminded me of God's faithfulness to work all things for our good, even our own moral failings.
“ Jesus Christ is ALL. ” "It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not". "For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed". "Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life". It is a result of His mercy that I am constrained by His love; an everlasting love which He purposed and preserved me in Jesus Christ whom He made my Surety and Representative. It is His mercy towards me that I believe His report: "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end". It is His mercy that I can rest in Christ, who makes sure that promise, by His Spirit, to me. Thank you brother Walter for this message.
