Greatly encouraging! Thank you so much for this wonderful reminder of where our focus should be as Christians and children of our sovereign and loving Lord! Just what I needed to hear today!
An EXCELLENT message! This message sheds much needed light upon the subject of the believer's resurrection in Christ and his continuing sanctification in Christ. It very well explains the nature of the good works which Christians, of necessity, walk in and the understanding which we should have concerning them. Both faith and good works are the GIFT of God initiated in our redemption and resurrection in Christ. You'll probably want to keep this sermon in your library to listen to over and over again.
Great Sermon! This sermon is good food for thought for both men and women.
To the women who presume to be prophets and to men blinded by today's social sex norms, consider that the ONLY female credited to leading Israel said,
"When the PRINCES in Israel take the lead, when the people willingly offer themselves— praise the LORD" - Jdg 5:2
Adam's inclination to do what his wife said and to permit his wife's decisions to go unchecked should be another lesson for us all. This is why Numbers 30 says what it does! God's law was GOOD!
Introduction Prayer is the unique priviledge of the sons of God to address a devoted, protective, and delighting God. We are to come as a needy child. "In heaven" draws attention to a necessary sense of awe which contrasts with, but does not negate His fatherhood. The prayer affirms our need for community in prayer.
