Exactly What I Needed My husband and I have been struggling with infertility for quite some time and we lost a little one earlier this year. This sermon is exactly what the Lord knew I needed. Thank-you, Rev. Roets, for preaching on such a relevant topic with grace, understanding and compassion while guiding our hearts through the Word of God to look only to Him for our satisfaction and joy. "There is only one birth that can save." I encourage anyone who struggles with infertility or the loss of a child to listen to this message. Immensely blessed by it.
Thank-you! Excellent pastoral sermon. Thank-you for your willingness to deal with the issue of infertility head-on, and for giving biblical encouragement to infertile women.
Great Sermon! The volume is very low. I advised my brother listen to sermons by Dr. Venema if he wants to hear the best. I searched and found these sermons on your site, but alas the quality of the recordings is very poor and the volume is almost inaudible. The older sermons are even worse quality. Anything you can do to clean these to the standard of the original delivery will be appreciated. Also I would recommend the .flac (free lossless audio codex) format for the originals.
Sincerely,
David Parker
A Good Reminder A very good sermon with a good reminder that Christ is the heart of all things. I know that I often struggle to keep that at the forefront of my thoughts and actions.
I also appreciated the line of the Bible being dead letters without the spirit. I've tried and failed to explain that to some of my friends time and time again, and still haven't spit it out half so simply.
On an unrelated note, the sermons title, "Christ!" seems like it would be the title of a modern version of "Jesus Christ Superstar." Someone really should get on making a Calvinist musical...
Greetings Friend! I hope things are well for you and your family! God is at work in our family and blessings are visible as our children are healthly, maturing in thier faith, and preparing to leave the nest. It was great to be able to hear God's word through you again and very encouraging.
May God bless and lead you in this next week.
Great Sermon! Absolutely amazing sermon. “Man added to Him, God not lost to Him. He emptied himself not by losing what he was but by adding what he was not.” I hope I got that quote right, but either way I like it. I've been raised in the church all my life, and Roets still can make it all new to me.
Power of the Holy Spirit. The great promise of God that He will work through the Holy Spirit in us a new heart so that we will respond in love and obedience to His love, we will be His people and He will be our God.
