Thank You Thank you so much Brother Robbie for preaching this message. It broke my heart to hear it. I couldn't help think of all my loved ones who I once worshipped with who have turned their backs on God. I really enjoy being in service with you even if it's through the internet.
Great Sermon! Reminder to come to the Lord while you can. There’s a famine mentioned in Amos 8:11-12.
Behold the days come, saith the Lord God, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, Nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord: and they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the Lord and shall not find it.
What a blessing! It’s easy to choose a curse… just refuse to hear or heed God’s warnings and don’t take them to heart.
Malachi 2:2
If ye will not hear,if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the Lord of Hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings; yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart.
Choosing the blessing takes action on our part. Choosing the curse is often choosing inaction.
Great Sermon! The world celebrates death, the thing sin brought into the world, and tries to make light of it on Halloween. Praise God, as a Christian I have something far greater to celebrate on Resurrection morning! Life and restoration which Jesus died and rose again to give to me! Looking forward to the day when I can walk with him in heaven the way it was always meant to be!
Amen My Grandaddy loved the saying….You Can’t help the birds that fly over your head… BUT you don’t have to let them build a nest in your hair. If a bad thought comes to your mind it is your choice whether or not to dwell on it and give it a place to grow. Philippians 4:8 says Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
It is a battle but one worth fighting!
The Old Paths are good today It was good to hear there are more who still believe in the good old-time way. My Grandaddy was born in Wise County, Virginia in 1919. He preached this way and my father and my brother still preach it as well. Our church is broadcasting on here as Nebo Free Will Baptist in Missouri. It blessed our hearts to learn of your church. Don’t ever get discouraged. Keep your eyes on Jesus!
