Great Admonition! I hope and pray that other Pastors would be emboldened to speak out like you and a few others do. Jesus often grouped his disciples (us, included by extension) with the prophets who were persecuted in their day. Prophets like Elijah, Elisha, Jeremiah, Zechariah, John the Baptist (I can go on) were not only persecuted but some actually martyred for speaking against some of the evils that were current during their day. Some of today's preachers are like dumb dogs who refuse to even stir when thieves and burglars approach the house of God. There is a silence of the lambs only because there is a silence of the shepherds.
One last thing: I am glad Franklin Graham spoke out against what is going on in Charlotte which is considering a law allowing transgendered males to enter female public restrooms. It's only natural that Franklin would speak out when the city that honors his father with a museum considers something that is so contrary to his father's beliefs and life's work. Unfortunately there are some who use SermonAudio who refuse to think of Franklin as being a true evangelical. They would rather attack the messenger and ignore the message.
