“ Great Sermon! ” Thank you Brother McIntire for uploading this very blessed sermon on a much-needed but rarely preached doctrine. Thank you and may God's abundant blessings continue being with you in your ministry.
“ Encouraging! ” The text of this sermon is 1 Kings 17, not Revelation 5. It is an encouraging message about trusting in the Lord. The Lord is leading us one day at a time.
“ Revelation 22:18-19: A Final Warning ” It should be noted that Revelation 22:18-19, which is also a reference to Deuteronomy 4:2, Deuteronomy 12:32, and Proverbs 30:5-6, is a final warning against tampering with The Word of The Lord. Back in Genesis 3:1-24, Satan the serpent took away from and added to The Lord's Word in Genesis 3:4-5. In other words, Satan the serpent tampered with The Lord's Word. The reference to The Final Warning in Revelation 22:18-19 clearly shows that The Lord has already indicted those who would intentionally tamper with His Word.
“ Powerful preaching. ” Very powerful preaching. Great and passionate call to salvation in Christ. In fact, through the mouth of this preacher, the Lord Jesus Himself is calling sinners to repentance and salvation in Him.
“ Great Sermon! ” I know Dr. McIntire died in 2002, but he mentioned the twin towers collapsed in 2001, how could this recording date be labeled April of 1993?
Doesn’t that appear to be a bit strange?
“ Great Sermon! ” Oh, what an encouraging message. It is so refreshing to hear a Presbyterian who’s eschatology is in line with scripture. I know of someone who once taught from the premillennialism perspective and he attended a Presbyterian Seminary and now he is totally confused.
“ Oh God, have mercy! ” LORD God! Bring Thy precious Word to us in great power. LORD JESUS, have mercy, and revive the preaching of Thy precious Word. Thy servant, Dr. McIntire is with Thee in glory. Now, O God, send preachers to us that we die not!
