“God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification” - 2 Thessalonians 2:13 “The fact that the godly are the chosen of God, and are, by distinguishing grace, set apart and separated from among men. Election is a doctrine which unrenewed men cannot endure, but nevertheless, it is a glorious and well-attested truth, and one which should comfort the tempted believer. Election is the guarantee of complete salvation, and an argument for success at the throne of grace.” — C.H. Spurgeon
(David Mackereth) is not ashamed of the gospel. The Father chose to save the elect alone and not the reprobate (Rom. 9:6-24; Eph. 1:3-6. Pastor David preaches here @ Speakers Corner in London, perhaps one of the last remaining places in Great Britain where free speech is permitted. “For this people’s heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes.
Otherwise they might see with their eyes and hear with their ears, understand with their heart and turn, and I would heal them” — Matt. 13:15
Edifying Study Very much appreciate Pastor David’s sincere longing for Steve Lawson’s repentance. The right tone has been set in stating the gravity of the matter. Also noteworthy is the desire to help the body of Christ understand what has transpired biblically through carefully selected Scriptures.
It pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe England has never heard preaching like this since Martyn Lloyd Jones in the 20th century. Preaching the full orbed gospel will always be the divinely ordained means to draw sinners to Christ and this preacher has a burden for the lost that puts me to shame. There are still sheep to be gathered in from English towns & truly it will be because of this preaching and not in-spite of it. All glory to God.
A reality check from 1 Peter Pastor David is rightly full of hope for God’s supernatural church & this wake up call to Christians in the west is much needed. The true church has expanded whenever persecution abounds & Pastor David reminds us, “Do not be surprised @ the fiery trial you are going through..” Moreover, Pastor David is a fine exegete.
A Voice in the Widerness Pastor David is right. (Unknown) penned hymn revision which describes the spiritual condition of the Anglican Church in UK: Backward Christian Soldiers, fleeing from the fight with the cross of Jesus nearly out of sight.
Listen everyone! I didn't know what to title this and it was so hard to listen to the opposition and filthiness directed at you dear brother but rest assured you are equipped, clothed in the full armour of God and NOTHING can stop the Gospel being preached by a faithful servant of God as you are. God bless you and the lovely policewoman (Julie?) who was so delightful to hear. What respect I have for you. In my prayers for you I always pray that God will protect you spiritually, physically, emotionally and mentally
Appreciate You preaching the truth! Mr. Mackereth,
I've been listening to your sermons for over a year now! What a blessing!
listening from Pennsylvania USA
May The Lord Jesus keep a hedge of protection upon you!
Lovely testimony There is no place that we can be where the Lord is not with us. What mighty comfort. I'm listening to this quite a time after you posted this and look at the doors the Lord has opened to you Dr David and I'm sure He has much more to come. You are blessing so many people already.
great study Thank you for your diligence in serving God. Also for these wonderful studies. I like to listen more than once. God bless you dear brother đź‰âť¤ď¸Źđź‡¦đź‡ş
Strong and needful to hear! Thank you Dr David for this message, it was so very true, sobering and challenging. It can be so distressing watching all that is going on in the world and I cannot understand how anyone could live without God and His mercy and His justice. I was once there too and only Jesus Christ saved me from a life of despair and self destruction. If God judged Sodom, how think anyone that we will escape. Thank you for the enormous encouragement you give me and may your evangelisin yield much fruit. To God be the glory!!🙏❤️🇦🇺
Thank you I have been reading up on Church history the last couple of years and find this a most exciting book. Oh for the fervour of these precious early Christians to once again be in the world in the Church.
Wonderful Thank you so much Dr David for the reading of this book.I only just found it here and look forward to listening to it all, over time.❤️🇦🇺
Great message! Thank you for this Dr David. I await eagerly to see what comes of the GAFCON statement . It was wonderful to hear the words of fellow Christians, I do believe that God is purifying His Church for the coming times, calling His people to come out from churches who do not follow His Word. Amen indeed.
Strong witness Thank you for this dear Dr David, I felt that though your preaching is always strong and faithful , that the Lord gave extra strength to you today for your last day out in Hull. It's hard to describe but my soul is warmed and delighted when I hear your preaching as I know you have a real heart for the lost. Oh I pray the Lord would raise up more men of God to go out into the highways and byways to compel them to turn from sin and come unto Jesus. Oh for this here in Australia too, truly ibelieve the time is exceedingly short, the world will not be allowed to continue in its wickedness . 🙏❤️🇦🇺 to compel people to come
Valuable lesson. What really came to me listening to this was: Though so many grievous, horrible teachings what is truly wonderful to remember throughout this book over many years is the fact that God's Word was truly hidden in Charles'heart from the time he read it with his parents as a child. Glory to God!
Wonderful words!! Amen, that the Word of God will bring salvation unto those four lost souls.Much respect and prayers for you in your taking the Gospel where it is needed May the Lord God bless you, sustain you and may many be ushered into His kingdom through the proclamation of His Holy Word🙏❤️🇦🇺
Much needed truth Thank you for this timely message. I hardly ever hear anyone in reformed circles talking about this, and it's sad because the alarm is not being sounded. Thank you for faithful teaching and pointing to Christ in the midst of all these things.
