Great Sermon! As we witness to the church community around us not only with the preached word, but also in our daily lives as prophets in the office of beileiver; let's be mindful of the rampant denial of the particular soverighn grace of God, especially in the realm of the covenant. (I think especially of the embracement of the Federal Vision). Let us pray that God will use us personally to enlighten his people who are still in those churches being deceived so craftily by false teachers at the instigation of the devil himself. I think that the false teachers in these churches are well aware of our stand in regard to this heresy, but the people in those churches don't have a clue. They do not understand its implications and they certainly will not hear about that from their preachers! So, let us in sincere love for Gods deceived people, strive to show the soverighn majesty and graciousness of our Covenant Friend to all those that cross our path. May all Gods people know and confess His glorious truth so that Jesus may come soon. As Rev. Overway said---how long, oh Lord? Come Lord Jesus, Come quickly!
Great Sermon! As we witness to the church community around us, mindful of their denial of the particular soverighn grace of God, especially in the realm of the covenant. (I think especially of embracement of what they call the Federal Vision). Let us pray for Gods true people who are in those churches being deceived so craftily by false teachers
Great Sermon! Very nice clarification on the mediation of Christ and "one God." Also the distinguishing of Reformed from Presbyterian faith--I learn a lot from Prof. Hanko.
