Great Sermon! I love the sermons and teachings that come from the pulpit of this church that has a successful savior. I am very blessed to hear them through this app since I am too far away to attend this church in person. I praise God for this method of evangelization and ministering!
Great Sermon! Thank you. Most preachers are afraid to preach on head coverings and/or women being subject to the man. But who are we to obey—God or man? But they are even more frightened/petrified to preach sermons regarding women preaching and women being pastors. I personally will not attend a church that has women preachers or pastors or bishops and I’m not a man. I am a woman. And I believe what my KJV Bible says. None of the false doctrines on this particular subject is difficult to understand. People need to stop picking and choosing which of the Bible Scriptures to obey or to feel it’s okay to disobey. Thank you Brother Phelen for being true to, and teaching what the Bible truly says. God’s great blessings to you. 🙏🙏🙏
Great Sermon! Brother Phelan and Brother Samons thank k you so much for the uplifting and thought provoking messages here on sermon audio. I was raised in the pb church and was baptized in 1983 at LaPryor Church by Elder H.D. Russell. The church disbanded so I currently have no home church. Your messages speak to my heart and have become quite important to me. Thank you and may our Lord continue to bless you and your congregation at Harmony Church.
Powerful Sermon! This message could not be more clear as to what sanctification is for the saved person. It clearly and sharply defines what Jesus Christ has done for us, and also what sanctification holds that we should do in response to Jesus' saving work. Once you see the 2 sides of sanctification you will fulfill what a true believer does with his life. A strong clarification of this word, and will let you walk in peace and receive the blessings it holds for you.
Confirming Sermon! The communication between Jesus Christ and his early disciples highlights serious questions about the picture of salvation and why it all up to God. It's interesting that even though the disciples were with Jesus for 3 years, they still had many serious things to hear and understand before their salvation, but to us with our Holy Bible, we have more clarity for answers.
Yet, these things are not being preached in Truth in many churches today. We are blessed to have the Holy Scriptures to read every day -- a privilege that we don't put to full use. This was a most informational sermon.
Challenging Sermon! This is one powerful, challenging sermon. It "opens a can of religious worms" so to speak. It pushes you to really search what salvation truly is. And the answer is that you have nothing to do with your salvation -- God's Grace gives you Faith in Jesus Christ to understand the Gospel, but only because God has opened your fleshly eyes into seeing everything Spiritually -- He does it all, and you have to challenge yourself almost daily to understand this. You have nothing to do with your salvation -- it is all a Gift of God and accept that and live a Godly life with the power of the Holy Spirit. Sometimes you have to see and fight the battle over again because your flesh still causes confusion. The only remedy is to study the Holy Scriptures more deeply with an open mind to see the Truth.
Beloved Pastor is missed by many Elder Rakes Passed away about 2 months after he preached this sermon. June 2011. He was a great man and I was blessed to know him
Great Sermon! Great sermon!! the work of Christ to the mind is more important than fighting about who He is. Lots of Christians will say that He is God, but very few except Old baptists understand what He did for His people. Thank you Dan Great teaching!!!
Very Great Sermon! This subject was brief but well documented and very Biblical. Traditions, customs and feelings were completely left out and only the Bible was used. Someone may disagree, but they cannot disagree using only the Scriptures.
Keep up the good work!!
Great Sermon! I was under the weather today and couldn't attend services so I listened once again to this wonderful message that was the last one I would ever hear from this sweet servant of God. Though tears flood my eyes, my heart was made to rejoice in this message. I am so glad these messages are preserved for generations to come to hear the truth.
