“ Both and? ” I would have been really worried if you hadn’t at the outset rightly interpreted John 6:44… (to “draw”: original Greek ἑλκύσῃ) literally to “drag” (like a tractor!), and also using the bridge illustration to be likened unto Christ…, of which I used heavily as a bionic Arminian (Salvation Army). My ears go on high alert at bridge illustrations.
“ Great man of God. ” Story of the life and ministry of a man whom God gave for His church. With stress put on his doctrine of predestination and God's sovereignty in salvation.
“ Great Sermon! ” Dear Pastor, I needed to hear this sermon this night. I am a missionary in Nigeria. Your word has reached and touched my heart. God will reward you with the blessings of Christ.
