Great Sermon! Excellent exposition by Pastor Greg of Philippians 3:9 on justification by the imputed righteousness of Christ! All our supposed righteousnesses are as filthy rags before God (Isaiah 64:6). Guilty sinners like us need to have the "righteousness of God" imputed to us (2 Corinthians 5:21)!
Great Sermon! This series on anger is excellent. It has taught me so much about the difference between righteous anger and sinful anger. Just excellent teaching!
Great Series on Anger This series on anger has helped me so much. I had no idea how anger was eating me alive. I'm now listening to it again, and it's helped tremendously. Thank you Pastor Greg!
Strong Sermon! This message deals with a very difficult topic concerning the deity of God The Father, God The Son, and God The Holy Spirit and Brother Greg does an excellent job showing us Scripture examples and definitions.
Powerful Sermon! This sermon opened my spiritual eyes to see how much the Holy Spirit is working in me and in the salvation of my fellow Christians. All of the ways the Holy Spirit is involved throughout the Holy Scriptures is awesome, and too much of the time we don't realize and appreciate what His power is doing. I think today's church does not give enough time to preaching all the attributes and working of the Holy Spirit, from Genesis to Revelation -- He is constant. Without His power in us, we could not follow the Gospel. Thank you for this thorough examination of the Holy Spirit. I will listen to all Brother Greg's messages on the Holy Spirit.
Eye Opening Sermon! This sermon should (but will it?) make us all ask are we following in the True Faith of Christ Jesus. As the sermon illustrated, many in the congregation admitted to following one of more false faiths before actual salvation only by Grace, through Faith in Jesus Christ, without ANY type of work or profession that many pastors claim that you need before you are "born again." Know that if you are saved, God chose you, you did not choose God by anything you did, like reciting a certain prayer, being baptized, of any other "religious thing" that made you believe you were "saved."
It is all through the loving Grace of God that He brought you to a Saving Faith in Christ Jesus -- no had nothing to do with your salvation, but that you followed in continuing to believe in Jesus Christ and followed His Commandments in your behavior and the change has made you a New Creation. Thank you Jesus Christ!
Extremely encouraging We can easily get discouraged in our daily ministires, but this is just the reminder I needed that God will give us all the resources we need to carry out the work of proclaiming the finished work of Christ. Prayer is the God-ordained means that God uses to advance His kingdom for the glory of His name. Rather than be discouraged by our sin in neglecting prayer, let's be comforted by Christ's amazing invitation to ask whatever is in conformity to God's will so that the Father will be glorified!
Powerful Sermon! It is all by God's Grace that any of us are saved and this message covers all the questions and doubts that any of us will ask of ourselves. It's so easy to see that much of the church adds works to our salvation, but that is totally in error. Grace, faith, salvation -- it all comes from God -- we have nothing to do with His Workings. We are too sinful to look to anything we could offer God.
Thank God for His Love and Grace.
Powerful Sermon! Brother Greg does a strong job presenting the need for us to fight against sinning -- in all aspects. Once
you realize how much God has given us, how can we disappoint Him by returning to our previous, sinful nature. This has great motivation for us to remain pure in God's eyes.
