Great Sermon! I often come on SermonAudio.com to listen to various reformed Pastor's. I found yours today, and even though they were done several years back, they are still spot on! Love it and well done. Looking forward to hearing the rest of this series on the wonderful 'Doctrines of Grace'!
Great Sermon! Excellent message. I was reading your bio and found out that North Shore are co-members with your church. I really enjoy Pastor Ed Moore too. I usually get on SermonAudio and find different churches randomly and listen. That's how I found North Shore and yours. God bless.
Great Sermon! THANK YOU SO MUCH! Been searching for a good explanation of this passage for a while. Heard many; but this one brought new, much needed insight tonight. Listened to it because it was featured! So thankful! May God bless you and your ministry! Hallelujah!
Great Sermon! I enjoyed your teaching on deacons. Yes, you are right the deacon holds the faith. He/She is not required to teach it but must be a good example of living the Christian life. The elder/priest must be able to teach. He must be able to not only faithfully live the faith but have the aptitude and knowledge to teach not only the Bible but the way of the church. Therefore, the priest and deacon should be those who attend a seminary and/or mentoring program like those found in the early church when bishops personally trained postulants in the abbey or monastery. Finally, the bishop is the defender of the faith. He not only lives it and teaches it, he must also have the character to confront heresy and sin. But loving also to guide those back to orthodoxy when they are willing to correct their ways or teachings. www.eacna.org
