“ Needful & Helpful ” Thank you for taking the time to prepare and deliver this message. It's a very needful thing to go over and is so frequently & repeatedly dealt with in the new testament over & over, but for some reason seems to get quite under represented. If God's preachers of that day thought it needful & helpful for His people & the Lord by His Holy Spirit ensured it was recorded for millennia to come. So it confuses me why so many today neglect to teach and preach these scriptures, perhaps out of a reaction against what some denominations have turned some of these passages into, but then Satan gets his way and the scriptures are silenced, like you said these shouldn't be taken to the far extreme on the one hand, nor react to the extreme on the ither, but just faithfully declare God's Word!

meditate upon in our hearts and minds daily til we are called home.

“ Amen ” What must I do to be saved? Believe. Scriptures never say do nothing. But also none but those God's working in can or will do so, but don't alter the scriptures to broaden nor shrink the promise, just declare the plain and simple word and wait on God to do His glorious work! Amen
“ Thank you ” Thank you for this message... Sometimes God uses powerful or seemingly troublesome events to get the attention of His people to save them
“ Wow ” I haven't heard a message like this in a very long time! What a poignsnt statement on discernment... to my experience there isn't a lot of blatant legalism or other doctrinal lies told either in churches near us nor online, but rather most things are actually doctrinally sound and true. it really calls to mind the scripture: if it were possible to deceive even the very elect... it seems to be that we are certainly living in a time that this scripture is truly embodied. Yet so much of the preaching out there when it is talking about false religions is merely addressing things like Catholicism or Islam or others that are obviously unscriptural and has nothing to say about that which is or seems to be true yet is not true religion.
“ Great sermon ” The contrast is stark, I appreciate the clarity on defining terms and legalism in the beginning too! I think it's very helpful to understand these things aright.
“ Fantastic ” I've really been enjoying this series, it's structured a bit differently than most sermons, I feel like I've had many things revealed to me through this series that I've never heard before despite having heard these verses preached many times over the years. Thank you for your time in studying and carefully looking into these passages. Even more so I thank the God who gave you these messages and the heart & dedication to look at these things!
