Peek 1 comment “ Please listen! ” Please listen to this passionate plea for Christians to be devoted to habitual, persistent, watchful,and thankful prayer--especially prayer for renewal and revival. An added bonus at the end: a church history lesson on King Philip's War (a brutal war between the colonists and the Native Americans) and how in the aftermath of that bloody war, the preachers and laymen began praying for the Lord's mercy. The Lord answered above and beyond their expectations...with the Great Awakening. We cannot hope to see change in our generation without the Holy Spirit opening hearts to the Gospel. We have the opportunity to devote ourselves to prayer for God to do this great work of regeneration. LORD, YOUR KINGDOM COME!
