“ Great Sermon! ” This was a blessing and relevant that Rev Macleod made reference to a table of Christian literature for witness, a common sight in his city of Glasgow. I only wish it was the same in Newcastle and there was a Reformed evangelistic street witness.
17th May I was in Newcastle- Northumberland Street there were three Jehovah's Witnesses with a large sign advertising their deceitful book: 'What the Bible Really Teaches'. I watched several people take a copy and two gentleman engrossed in reading. Another asked if it was 'KJV' and was deceitfully told 'Yes', so he took one also. A few yards further and a Mormon was preaching 'aloud' his satanic gospel. Another few yards and there was a healing chair and those deceived in promoting a healing ministry for the lost sinner, but without any gospel message. They were not to keen on proving that healing ministry with a visit to the RVI.
At the Monument we have the Muslims with a literature table that attacks the person of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. A small group of charismatic folk handing out tracts that water baptism is necessary for salvation.
Another telling me that RC's are brethren and preach the same justification by faith (alone).
What an opportunity to preach Christ and Him crucified for a local church!
