Bartel Elshout 2 comments “ Great Sermon! ” Thank you for that wonderful sermon and the explanation of Genesis 4:7 ... If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door... It is mentioned and suggested that the altar of the Lord was near "the door" of the Garden of Eden... (thus teaching us the human responsibility of all men everywhere)... The "door" is also mentioned in these verses too! Leviticus 1:5  And he shall kill the bullock before the LORD: and the priests, Aaron's sons, shall bring the blood, and sprinkle the blood round about upon the altar that is by the door of the tabernacle of the congregation... Leviticus 4:4  And he shall bring the bullock unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the LORD; and shall lay his hand upon the bullock's head, and kill the bullock before the LORD.
