Great Sermon! Good reminder to weary prayer warriors that many have not bowed the knee to Baal even in the midst of a perverse and wicked generation.
Cry aloud unto the God of heaven. Give him no rest until his people repent. E.g. the Christian elect of God.
Excellent Sermon! Do you remember when you were unsaved, when you lived a corrupt, sinful life?
God was patient and gave Grace to let you become a child of God, when He could have left you to die in your sin. Love God for what He did, and Fear God for what He could have done without His Grace. By remembering what was and what is should make you give unending thanks to God.
Insightful Sermon! This sermon can apply to our days just as it did to ancient Israel. In some ways I think our nation is at the brink of judgment because of what has happened in our rejecting God in all our areas of life. Our churches are weak in their preaching and our politicians and laws are anti-Christ in their dealing with our problems. If a disaster happens soon, it should not be unexpected because God's hand is not protected us as it did 200 years ago with our foundation.
A Peace Giving Sermon! After hearing this my soul was blessed with much peace, especially after a deep hurt in my family. While I cannot make the sadness disappear, knowing that the Blood of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has given us an eternal peace makes my day better. My prayers go out to those suffering hurt today, but we do have a God who understands and will comfort us -- Thank you Jesus Christ.
Great Sermon! What can one truly say after listening to Dr. Wood's message on the blood of Christ but WOW. Glory to our Great God. It blessed my soul immensely. Thank you my Brother.
Great Sermon! AMEN! I loved this sermon. It is one of many sermons I've listened to on here that are exactly what I need in my life right now. I have trials now that , as Dr Bob put it, have me "shut in" -- and that is good.
Good Sermon! I enjoyed this sermon. Particularly the unwarranted expectation that you will have a perfect life if you are living a "good Christian life". While unsettling at first, it reminds me that we are not living for this world and that our suffering here is brief and meant for God's glory.
Very nice It's always nice to know that reading the Word brings us to a better understanding of God -- not a better understanding of the men God used to write the Word. Thanks for the reminder that we can be bold in presenting the Word to others because it contains more truth than anything before or after it.
Timely reminder concerning our Adversary! Excellent reminder for God's children in such a time where Satan seeks to increase his deceptive attacks to stifle our relationship with the Heavenly Father. His only aim is to destroy the life-giving flow that comes from obedience, repentance, and close fellowship with the Savior. When we forget the fierceness of our adversary, we become lethargic, callous, and our light grows dim. This is an excellent reminder to be sober and vigilant against our adversary as to be faithful and pleasing to the Lord. God bless you Dr. Stephen Jones for such a sound stirring message!
