Great Sermon! Happy for Dr Thomas in retirement, but what a loss to Sermon Audio. However the blessing is being able to listen to his stored sermons. Thank you, Lord, for blessing us with Dr Thomas
Fantastic Sermon! Thank you so much for this brilliant sermon. It saddens me to see our human race being increasingly led to the grips of digital technology instead of being led to the word and the hand and the wisdom of God.
Great Sermon! This is a very biblically based balanced caution about this technology. He doesn't go off the deep end on either side. Technology is a gift and our devices must be stewarded just like every other technology. But we must be aware of their dangers. Give this a listen!
Convicting! Glad to hear a sermon addressing the gap in relationship effects of our technical age. My repentance will be a sign of believing what I just heard is true.
Is it enough to hear truth, or is it to act on what we hear? Doers of the Word.
Spurgeon 'The Prince of Preachers' Thank you Mr. Lawson of reminding me of a great servant of our Lord Jesus. This talk motivates me to read Spurgeon again and thus me encouraged in my walk with the Lord.
Great Sermon! This was my Pastor in Douglasville,Ga. Whom has, or had, (not sure) it's been awhile since I heard anything. That he has a form of some kind of cancer.
Prise The Lord I was just recently diagnosed with (brain) cancer and am also a preacher of God's Word. I was in the midst of preaching through 1 peter expositionally when I was diagnosed. I recently returned to the pulpit and picked up here in 1 Peter. Great word!
Great Sermon! Love your narration of this portion of God's precious Word. Oh the amazing grace of God! Here was a group of Hebrew synagogue elders with no clue that Yahwah was standing in their midst, yet grace had been given to this gentile captain to discern it. Amazing. In fact, the two places that record Lord Jesus marveling at someone's faith was at both gentiles, to the best of my recollection. One can only try to imagine having that spoken to them like, "Janine, I've not seen such faith in all of Louisiana." No, can't wrap my mind around that one.
Great Sermon! Was waiting for part two and not disappointed. Thank you. Look forward to future Sundays in additional attributes. I also claim Dr. Thomas as "my professor" through the Centerpoint online School of Theology when the sessions are in and on SA. Eagerly looking forward to the fall semester. Yet, I had not heard that humorous tho sad story of that church experience he and his family. Remembering you in prayer, Bro. Payne.
