Beautiful Sermon! Dear Seth, thank you very much for this sermon. It has been such an encouragement to my weary soul. I have sent it to many of my precious sisters.
May the Lord bless you with more of himself.
Great Sermon, thank you. Thank you very much for this sermon. It is so well explained.
Unfortunately it was not complete - the end of the sermon was cut off as with the previous one (Part 1)
Solid Stuff. Sound preaching and teaching, both spiritual yet practical as well as practical yet spiritual. Spiritual meaning the Holy Scripture as the Foundation, the Holy Spirit as the Architect and Builder and the Believer as a workman on and within the new creation, himself. Onward Christian Soldier ... Watch, Pray, Fight!
Great passion for the glory of Christ. Great lessons from the life of Calvin. The glory of Christ must be the first thing for which a church lives. Characteristics of ministers who exalt the glory of Christ: they love sound doctrine; they trust in the sovereignty of God; they are men under authority; they are committed to world missions; they are driven by a passion for God's Word; they are devoted to the preaching of the Word; they endure hardships; they receive reward. All these illustrated in the life and ministry of Calvin.
Great Sermon! Our family has been drawn in by The Church of God PKG, which is headed by Ron Wienland who is a self proclaimed profit, but of a type you didn't really cover. Most likely because the type isn't covered in Jeremiah, the David Koresh, Jim Jones legalistic authoritarian type. These guys are all to willing to cry aloud and tell the people their sins. But the profile becomes similar in the aspect of proclaiming good things in the name of God to all those who follow him. And he gives his followers a sense of being special when they submit to his authority as the singular representative of god on planet earth. And of course, one of the two witnesses from Revelation . But we had to write down your 3rd mark word for word for future reference, it's a very poignant description.
I appreciate you making these available. It's pretty much what I was hoping to find when I googled "false profits and teachers sermons"
