David and Christ. I listened to this message. Yes, there is application as well for the Messiah, but the psalm is also about David. It is the thankfulness of the man who experienced the salvation of the Lord from many enemies, as he states at the beginning of the psalm. And it is about David's trust, love and praise onto His God. And it is model for us, to try to imitate his godliness and his dependence upon God and his love for God. After seeing that, we can speak about the psalm as applied to the Messiah.
Great Sermon! Rich, comprehensive sermon preached from Isaiah 5, focusing on sensuality. I found this sermon while looking for Bible study resources to help me understand what is meant by sensuality in Galatians 5:19 and 2 Peter 2:2. Thanks for the sermon!
Great Sermon! I appreciate your treatment of this Psalm as a Messianic Psalm. So many pastors these days cannot see Christ in the Psalms and other OT passages.
Does my heart well to hear you treating it (and other Psalms) as such.
Great Sermon! What a challenging sermon! It has caused us to examin our hearts and lives that we may purge ourselves of any idols.
We are blessed to have been able to listen to the sermon!
