What an encouragement. I know God is doing a work in me. This sermon has clarified what my relationship with Him entails...but, most importantly how I'm to keep Him in the forefront.... All glory to Him. What a wonderful encouragement... I love that this sermon points the ways to apply all this to our daily lives. Fearing the Lord is an important message. How we are all called to speak His name to others and how we are to conduct ourselves. Not because we do this alone, but because we are saved by Christ. We were given the gift through Christ's sacrifice for us and given the gift of the Holy Spirit to help give us the words needed. I love concentrating on the Old Testament. All that was prophesied in the Old Testament coming into reality in the New Testament...in God's time. Time we need to speak the Word to others before all that is to come to complete the prophesies. This shows God did so love the world that He would allow His son to pay our debt. To see how we are to conduct ourselves, fearing to Lord lines everything up for me.
I've listened three times! I'm so thankful for this sermon. Counterfeit sorrow being sorrow driven by worldliness versus genuine sorrow, it was more than eye-opening.
