Great Sermon! So glad my children were not subjected to the unchristian anti-biblical teaching spoken about in this sermon in a state school, but had the privilege of a Christian education.
Great Sermon! When faced with the insanely wicked world of our day, one may be tempted to run for the hills and live out one's life in peaceful isolation! But our Lord calls us to shine as lights in the world for Him, and earnestly endeavor the salvation of those who are still a part of this lost and dying world. Although it may seem overwhelmingly difficult to be "in the world but not of the world," Jesus promises us grace for the task, and he is able to not only preserve us from evil, but also to make our candle of Gospel light burn ever so brightly, that men may glorify our Father in Heaven!
What a great signpost to the Saviour! A fine scriptural tribute to Ian Paisley from a preacher who was personally acquainted with 'the Big Man' and who loved him greatly. Just prior to listening I read another tribute quoting in full Rev Paisley's Sign Post sermon as ever uplifting the Lord Jesus Christ: “Behold the Lamb of God which taketh away the sin of the world.“ – John 1: 29. http://ilyston.wordpress.com/2014/09/12/remembering-ian-paisley-his-sermon-on-the-gospel-of-the-john-the-baptist/
Priorities A refreshing sermon on the issue of priorities. Great sin can result when Christians are "busy her and there".
This sermon is a must for the mature Christian. It is not always easy to determine priorities. But, if we are to keep our priorities sound, we must listen to sermon.
Take the practical advice and this take this sermon with you to prayer as God gives us aid in setting and living the right priorities. You will mature encouragement in this sermon. Thank you Rev. Hughes.
Great Sermon! Dear Pastor, if your intent in preaching this sermon was to encourage a colleague in the ministry, God has answered your prayer. I am a missionary in Nigeria. This evening, after I listened to you, I am much stronger. All the glory goes to God!
In Christ alone
