Great Sermon! What great encouraging message, and the patience and mercy of G-D when we have complaints and questions! But in the end and during the crisis, we will rejoice, for we live by HIS faith! Amen!!!
I needed this! I realized this morning that the glory and intimacy I had with The L-RD was absent, previously He answered every prayer I prayed and I took Him for granted and The Spirit had me read The Book of Hebrews and I got to 11:15 and I searched in SA and ran into your message and I cried through your message and yet The Spirit graciously revived me after I repented! Thank you for letting The Spirit use you, may The L-RD bless and keep you!
A Challenging Sermon for All A particularly challenging sermon for professing Christians' and for unbelievers' alike. Preached with clarity and with a passion for lost souls.
Too many people in the church of Jesus Christ today are sadly misguided and unconverted who have either made a false profession and continued in the sin or have followed their believing parents into church, but have never come to true saving faith in the Lord Jesus. To die still in your sins is a tragedy and a certain disaster, yet so many today think they are saved when they are not. So many have made a decision for Christ which has not been followed by a Godly life and love for Christ. The is a must sermon for all who claim the name of Jesus Christ; that as this message is preached should ask this important question:"Am I truly one of Christs and do I really and sincerely love Him."
Great Sermon! “Jews are worshipping today at the Western Wall.” This is worship? Is this scriptural?
Will we who have been circumcised in our hearts; the true Jew, return to the land of geographical Jerusalem also?
Why don't pastors and theologians get together and have a conference on these
topics - 'Who is Israel? Is it the blood of bulls and goats, natural blood, or the blood of Christ from beginning to end.
Where's the blood?
His Coming for the Saints Pastor Denis Lyle explains the mystery of the blessed hope, the greatest comfort after salvation, the rapture of the church, and the second coming of Jesus Christ, what Satan does not want doubting souls to believe: Maranatha, the Lord is coming, for His saints, and His return is imminent, "In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump" (1 Cor. 15:52).
"(16) For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: (17) Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. (18) Wherefore comfort one another with these words" (1 Thess. 4:16-18).
Truly, the mystery of the blessed hope, the greatest comfort after salvation, the rapture of the church, and the second coming of Jesus Christ are for the saved and born again believers in the Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, His saints.
As sheep of the good shepherd, we rest assured in these precious truths and promises.
May the gravity of these precious truths and promises precipitate a renewed fervency in the church and greater exploits for the cause of Christ, for the days are evil and the time is short.
Thank you for faithfully teaching God's Word! Thank you for being willing to stand on God's Word even when you must preach passages which the world and even sometimes Christians find as "difficult" or troublesome. As I have grown in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ, I've come to see that sometimes passages are "difficult" in the exegetical sense, but that some passages are deemed difficult because it's antithetical to the world's way of thinking - - and sadly, we as the Church have been tainted by the world, not wanting to submit to God's way which, of course, is always best. This I know from experience. I was so deceived by Satan in thinking that following the world's patterns for a woman was fulfilling and that following "that Bible way" of being a woman would mean living a dull life where I'd be losing out (and this while being a believer). By God's grace I've found just the opposite to be true. Yes, if I stayed at work and had left my children to someone else I could have "gained the world" (literally - by moving up in the global business world I had trained for and worked in), but what would that have profited me if I had lost my children's souls? The blessings of obedience are innumerable! I'm thankful to have been able to work hard with my husband discipling the next generation! What a high calling!
Great Sermon! As always agreat message and a lot to think about. I must a say that sermon audio is great. I do think your final section however deserves more time spent on it as a raises a number of questions regarding raising of children, an area which has changed greatly in recent years. As school and preschool start at a very young age are you suggesting that home schooling is preferred. To be honest in NI stay at home mothers appear to often be "out for lunch " another latest trendy cafe in town.
My wife will be returning to work from maternity leave as a nurse soon. The traditional thinking might be that A female nurse should not be married. In fact being at work has been a great way to get to know people in an area she moved to and to be a witness in work to many people.
I however do not want to sound critical as I get a from your teaching and preaching so thanks for all of it. I know it must not be easy and I'm sure has many trials we are not aware of. Keep up the good work
