I was shocked by the idea that we can give the impression that the Christian life is a Purgatory, because we live without joy in the Lord before men. How sad to not be able to testify daily about the joy of the Lord being real in our lives! How sad to seek to go toward a heaven a bliss, but looking like a group of unhappy people on the way!
