Great Sermon! Listening to this sermon several times over the last couple of years has proved indispensable to me. The information in this message has sparked an interest in me to do more research on Thomas Cranmer. I have recently finished a research paper on Cranmer in my Seminary historical theology class. Love this stuff. God bless you Dr. Haykin
Powerful Sermon! Without Grace you are nothing, without Grace you have nothing. It's simply that! Once you accept that your flesh does not deserve any saving Grace, you will be humble in the purist manner.
Great Sermon! I really learnt a lot from this challenging and uplifting sermon. Relieved to hear that Christian manliness is more than just chest thumping, discussing biblical issues over a beer, or going to the woods...!
Clarifying Just want to say that the versions I meant are horrible paraphrasing (like the Message) gender neutral, blurring idolatry worship, etc. versions. I am not meaning NIV, NKJV or similar translations.
Informative! Thanks for the information. Although there are some "anti-Christ agenda driven, have the nerve to be called a translation" versions around, I have found that most Biblical ignorance/confusion come from folks opening the Bible only at church, at the once a week/month Bible study, or never at all. And plenty of people read spiritual things, like devotions, and think they're getting fed the Word of God.
Dependence. Complete Dependence in on The Holy Spirit. Beautifully Depenndent to bear the Beautiful Fruit of Holiness !!! And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it. Psalm 90:17
Great Sermon! Thank you. This excited my soul. I really shouldn't listen to some of these sermons at night because I get so caught up in joy of having brought home to me deeper and deeper Who Christ Is for me that I can't get to sleep. Oh what an awesome God, Redeemer and High Priest we have in Christ Jesus.
