Insightful Sermon! This message really gives us a new viewpoint on the devil's walking seeking who he might devour -- even those of us who are "born again" and in the Lord, we still are weak in some areas that the devil searches for -- we sometimes lose our zeal for serving the Lord. We have to be careful that while we are in the world, we are not "of" the world -- which has many temptations to use up our time and keep it from the Lord. A great sermon that we should be aware of all day long.
Great Sermon! Thank you, Pastor Allison, for this sermon. I am deeply in pray for a certain situation this morning and was awake all but one hour in the night, asking the Lord for His guidance. He led me to the perfect Scripture during my quiet time and also to listen to this sermon during my morning dishes. I know that He will work out all things for our good and for His glory. I wish that you might mention "a Christian couple from Vermont" in your prayers, that we both would be obedient to His Scriptures. We love hearing sermons from you, as they do bless our hearts every time.
Great Sermon! Pastor Allison, Your ministry is being used by God to make a difference in my husband and my lives. We and a friend from South Carolina (originally Ala.) talk on the phone one or two nights per week. We discuss which of your sermons we've listened to throughout past week. He is praying for revival in his church and we in ours. This sermon, along with others, hit the nail on the head when you said the it's still a "revival" if it only begins in MY heart. We belong to a dear church in Vershire Vermont with a very faithful pastor. My husband is encouraging him to listen to your sermons, as the Word through them will strengthen his spirit much. If you think of Vermont, please pray for it. We have two families who travel two hours to get to church, as there is such a need for sound ministries here. You'll probably never know how many lives God has used you to touch. We pray for you.
Great Sermon! Thank you so much for this sermon. The Lord used it mightily in my heart yesterday. I PRAY that the things He showed me will be matters of prayer and obedience in my life from today, forward. I am listening to it again this morning. Please keep these honest, convicting messages coming. Vermont is a barren land. Though we have a good pastor, good churches are VERY few and far between. My husband, Syd, and I listen to your sermons at least three or four times per week.
