Great salvation. Blessed message for my soul! What a sorrow, what a suffering of the Lord Jesus for my salvation! What a comfort to know TODAY that my sins are forgiven in His sacrifice for me!
Great Sermon! Reverend Maurice Roberts explains 1 Timothy 3:16 and the mystery of godliness--the truths that only God can reveal to us through the Holy Bible: "And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory." (1) God was manifest in the flesh as Jesus Christ the Messiah and King. (2) Jesus was resurrected from the dead by the Holy Spirit of God. Jesus proved He was the Son of God and one and only way to the Father in heaven. (3) Jesus was seen of angels, announced by angels, ministered to by angels, and accompanied by angels into heaven. (4) Jesus was preached first to Jews and then to Gentiles. All nations heard the gospel of Jesus Christ on the day of Pentecost when the New Testament age began. (5) Jesus is believed on by disciples in nations all over the world due to church missionaries who preach the gospel and baptize believers. (6) After the resurrection, Jesus Christ ascended into heaven in His glorified body. Jesus is seated at the right hand of the Father in heaven and interceding for us as our high priest and mediator by the power of the Holy Spirit. God in three Persons is at work in the NT age of grace and the church.
Great truth. I listened again to this message. It is true: God cannot hear the prayers of those who have not a clean heart, even if they pray fir revival. They do not want truly revival of holiness in their heart. Last Monday, at the prayer meeting, when you spoke this message first time, I was especially encouraged by verse 21 and I prayed that the Lord may give me spiritual children. Let us not forget, brother, that revival can start with ONE MAN really praying until the Lord gives His blessing and moves others…
Great truths. It is so true: only a mighty work of the Lord can shake churches, preachers and members alike, out of their impassibility, to seek a heart on fire for the Lord and to live for God's glory!
Great blessings. We are blessed now and blessed for ever, in the Lord Jesus Christ! Glory to Him! Blessed and interesting the story of those conversions at the beginning of the sermon.
Great mercy and glory. Warm, heart touching message. What a glorious plan of God, to bring in His eternal Kingdom all His elects, even a hell-deserving sinner like me! What a Kingdom! What a King! What a mercy!
Great truths. Love and respect, a feeling of awe, a fear to sin and to grieve the Holy Spirit, to dishonor the Savior who loved us so much and who suffered so much to d=save us, all these deepening as we come to know the Lord God more and more.
Sad story. What a sad and tragic story is Lot's wife's story! To have such a testimony of faith as she saw in Abraham and Sarah, and to perish in unbelief!
True! We were created for the glory of God. We are saved for the glory of God. We are called to live for the glory of God. And we are called to serve Him for His glory.
Great tragedy. Very good and helpful sermon. Very sad subject. Oh, the sadness, the pain and the tragedy to know a loved one died in unbelief and went to hell…
