Don't judge without a hearing I just listened to Mark Driscoll's sermon on Youtube called Rebels guide to joy and loneliness taken from Paul's letter to the Philippines and was extremely blessed by it. Don't judge a man if you haven't listened to him.
Great Sermon! I find these studies "very interesting" and I want to say "thank you" for sharing these sermons on Pilgrim's Progress for people to hear and learn from them and enjoy! God bless!! Alana
Great Sermon! I am so Thankful to have found your series. This one was better than the last, for this was the Gospel preached. Thank you. (the last dealing with heretics which always grieves the heart, so epidemic today)
This was soothing to the soul, as the Truth always is. And it does need to be preached.
Great Sermon! These people do not know Jesus. Jesus has a little flock. The Gospel Does not change, He is our ROCK. The Words of GOD do not change. (one jot or tittle of His Words do not change and are NOT to be altered added to or taken away. These are the first 2 sins in the Bible!
How much of the Old covenant was based on Atonement?!!! Can they not think? We have a NEW Covenant signed in blood, and we (Born again Believers) are purchased with that precious blood. God does not change. The GOSPEL does not Change. Alter the Bible as they have, THE WORDS of God DO NOT CHANGE no matter how many (200 plus thus far, since 1881), "Babels" they put out.
Thank you for honoring our Saviour, and reminding us of how precious and far reaching that purchasing power IS.
Great Sermon! Dear Brother: May our blessed Savior be pleased to sound this precious truth loud and clear in the ear of all who make a profession of faith.
My heart grieves over seeing those on the broad road under the delusion that they are saved.
Sheep Be Warned While sometimes I am not amazed at this type of 'preacher' other times I find it overwhelming that others are not sounding the alarm about Driscoll. The fact that so many are either afraid to speak the truth about him or are following him for financial and status purposes is exactly the warning in 2 John 10 - don't even let them into your home. Driscoll in his latest book 'real marriage' (I didn't buy the book; just saw the review online and researched to make sure it was true)is clearly showing he doesn't care if he crosses the line in so many ways and it makes it harder to live as a Christian in this world when Christians support him. Check out John MacArthur's 'The Rape of Solomon's Song' - 4 parts. There are still a few shepherds left.
Great Sermon! what a good sermon that this man had the courage to preach. God bless him and his family . the Gospel is the power of God unto salvation .
the programs that the modern church has are not right before God, thanks brother for preaching the truth
Great Sermon! I REALLY needed to hear this message! Now I know that all my reservations about Hyper-Calvinism are valid. I pray that many, many Christian leaders will hear this message!
Thanks for actually prepping a sermon First, let me commend you for being one of a few pastors who actually take time to prepare a well thought out sermon. You're a rare bird in that regard. :) Second, thanks for sharing actual quotes from CS Lewis through out your message. I, personally, have never been a fan of Lewis. I can't stand fantasy writing and the one book I have read of his, A Grief Observed, I didn't think was "all that". I am familiar with his famous quote about Jesus being a liar, lunatic or the Lord and I was hoping you would address that quote. However, the fact that you exposed his heresy and the fact that he lived in sin with a woman, is enough for me to tell my radio audience about him. You may consider getting this sermon transcribed, I would share it if you do.
Driscoll - Repent and be converted !!!!! This man(?) needs to be confronted. More need to speak out against him. As for John Piper having him speak at his 'Desiring God' conference ..... shame on him !!!
John thinks far too much of himself - though he knows well how to convey a convincing( though utterly counterfeit) humility.
Great, truthful sermon, but... ...please remember not to lump all of us RBs in w/ the RPs ;)
More seriously, thank you Victory Baptist, again, for clear & straight forward preaching of the TRUTH!
