Great Sermon! Thanks, Richard Phillips, for helping us understand the priestly intercession and atonement of Christ from Samuel's ministry in Israel.
Brillant Richard Philips gives a great comparison with the gods of the Philistines with the modern gods of our modern culture. Philips draws attention how as dagon fell on his face so also secular philosphies will also fall on its face in the sight of the living God. Well done.
Great Sermon! Pastor Phillips is not only a good writer, he preaches like he writes. A sermon for all believers to enjoy, while we witness the collapse of our society to false gods.
Great Sermon! What a blessed sermon, thank you Pastor Phillips,my life is a shadow of Hannah's. I once suffered the very same family abuse about barreness, but through faith and persistent praying GOD granted my request and I responded with thanksgiving to my LORD and my GOD,this remains my daily prayers and much more. The LORD has blessed me with a son whom I called the Samuel in my life, he's also very successful and I thank GOD for him. Cindy.
Great Sermon! Amen! Thank you for this wonderful message! For many years I was ignorant
(see Romans 10:3) of the imputed righteousness of Christ...placed to our account by faith alone... What joy filled my heart when I learned this great truth!
As someone has rightly said...the imputed rightesness of Christ is like a "tranquilizer for the soul"...!
And then later on I learned about the wonderful doctrine of our election in Christ before the foundation of the world! What a blessing it is to have our eyes opened to these great truths!
It is like "being saved all over again"...(if that were possible).
Great Sermon! Dear Bro. There is another trap Jesus foes were expecting During Jesus time the power of death sentence was taken away from Jews religious court and it was only with Roman court If Jesus had sentenced her to death he would have been against the law of the Roman Empire ,would have usurped the powers of Roman empire and the religious foes would get HIM arrested the next moment by reporting the same to Roman rulers with whom they had cordial relation In that case It is Romans Who killed him and not Jews But Jews must kill their King through their law -Eternal Plan of GOD But who can fight against God and his Wisdom In this womans case also Jesus Out-witted the foes as usual in argument How Great is Our God
In the day of Judgement also foes can not win in their argument with GOD
