A Very, Very Good Message! "And GOD is not placated if we make a little room for Him on the shelf of our lives," is a point stated by Dr. Phillips in this sermon. Our GOD is the great, awesome, only true GOD.
Extremely challenging and very well delivered! Thank you dear brother for preaching a extremely challenging message from Ephesians 4. Not just for the believer but unbeliever alike. Moved my heart and challenged my walk in the Lord.
Continue preaching the unsearchable riches of Christ Jesus.
God in our sorrow 3 things: [1] I recall watching Dave Dravecky's comeback attempt.
[2] "By the way of the cross" by God's grace alone. "He desires us." [3] Grateful for the truth of Philippians 1:6.
Hope for those waiting for the King! Play this over and over again until it starts to go from the head & ears to the heart. May many be blessed by the hearing of His Word.
Excellent Sermon! This is a strong message covering many saspects of the power and wisdom of God, from the angels, Satan, and church. Great examples to help strengthen our Christian life.
Strong Sermon! We see great insight as to how God works in the lives of the unbelievers, while we see how we can know the working of God in our lives, and express our love and dependence on God.
Outstanding Sermon! This is an outstanding laying out of the progress of sinful acts and how God responds to it by judgments throughout history. But we must realize that during these events, we are in a spiritual warfare and the solution is not compromise with secular powers, but to preach the Gospel more strongly.
Challenging Sermon! One of the most expositions on what it means to be a lost-in-Christ person. Dr. Phillips outlines all the steps of what goes into rejecting Jesus Christ and everything that is part of a darkened heart. Also we see what we as born-again children should continue pursue to grow in Christ. All aspects of a saved person and a lost person are clearly presented in this sermon. Outstanding!
Thank You for this Biblical Teaching! When morality is separated from the gospel "good" people are still darkened and lost is one point of this message.
Clarification Emphasis in holiness and biblical obedience is not a choice but a must. The effect of grace, (justification) in the heart, compels the believer to this. Sanctification is the token of true regeneration, without which no one shall see the Lord.
Neo-calvinists make grace cheap, if lessening the biblical demands of mortifying the flesh, which by the way, includes putting into submission the pride of self-righteousness suggested in the message. 2 Cor. 7:1 commands us to perfect holiness. “Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.â€
