How great is our God! Pastor Don, This sermon deeply convicted and motivated me in the faith and service of Christ 5 years ago, almost to the day! I remember so clearly first hearing it back in October 2008, just one month after my mother left this earth and went to be with the LORD Jesus Christ. That event and this sermon, together, were tokens from Him, used by Him to move me resolutely into a larger place in my spiritual journey to the Celestial City.
Now today, after all these years, I find that your admonitions to surrender and to trust Him are still so fresh, so needful, and still the best medicine for my soul. The enormous, glorious subject of His care for us and our need to continually surrender...ah...this seems to be the delightful theme that colors all my life and all my days. Bright colors and dark, together, will make a lovely portrait when finally completed by Him, by grace!
"LORD, may I never stop crying, 'Help Thou my unbelief!' until I see Thee Face-to-face."
At last, the miracle of having these archived sermons so readily available to hear and share is another magnificent provision from Him to His people. Thank you, LORD.
Precious Union With Christ What a rich blessing to hear God's word preached so clearly that we are accepted of God in Christ from eternity to eternity. I love you my brother.
Great Sermon! I've been blessed, enriched, and taught as I've listened to your ministry thru these audio's. Our son, Paul in Chicago listens also to a sermon as this one today we had a "MEETING" over the phone. He can quote you to Russ & I .Thank you for such truth we hear, nothing can do but that for the soul once you know He brought you into the fold.
Please know our prayers are with you and your ministry,
Belinda Ward
Great Savour! Wow! What truth and comfort for a sin-sick-soul! Or even a sin healed soul. I am grateful that God has enabled a pastor who is willing and able to declare plainly Gods glory in the salvation of totally lost sinners!
The Truth of the Gospel The religious world hates this Gospel message, because it places God where He rightly belongs...on His throne! Thank you, Pastor.
Great Sermon! Bro. Allan, it is great to hear your sermons. God has gifted you with the ability to describe clearly what He has intended to reveal as true meaning -- to those whom He chose to hear His word.
Great Sermon! Not only does Brother Don state it, it is the sum and substance of scripture from Genesis to Revelation!!!!
Ephesians 2:8-10
King James Version (KJV)
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
Indeed Mr. Taylor, salvation is ENTIRELY the work of the LORD, before the foundation of the world!!! It is not the "old Path' it is the narrow way, that leads to an eternity of bliss in CHRIST!!!!! Who loved his elect, and gave Himself for us on Calvary!!!!!!! That we may have eternal life in HIM, who is all and in all!!!!!!
Very powerful What I appreciate most about these sermons is that they always aim to strip you of self by pointing you to Christ alone and exhorting you to believe on Him (as a Person and not just what the Bible says about Him on a carnal, intellectual level) and to rest in what He has already done -- salvation is all of free and sovereign grace.
There is much to ponder in this message, not just for the unsaved but for the Christian as well - especially relating to our own walk and attitude. Very rich sermon indeed.
