Thank you for showing how the church has to submit to Caesar. Uninformed Christians can find themselves subject to wicked laws do do wicked things because it has given Caesar authority that belongs to Christ.

“ Buying Lies, Lies, and More Lies ” I am so glad this in not a message that panders to one’s ill informed biases.
I learned a lot about how government is supposed to function.
This pastor reminds me of Calvin and those who were not afraid to bring truth to the people of God and apparently to elected officials.

“ Great Sermon! ” This series by Matthew is the most powerful, eye openning series/sermon I have ever heard. Topics in this series are rare to hear and unheard of to utter from the pulpit. Brilliant.
“ 'Pro-Life' Rhetoric? ” Wow! Guess I haven't been keeping in touch with the rhetoric coming from "Pro-Life" groups. Since coming to know what abortion was really about, I've called the mother an accomplice to murder—however ignorantly involved—not a victim. But your information, Brother Trewhella, had me asking myself if there was a vestige of “the woman/the mother is a victim” mentality in me. If there was, your message has definitely swept it away! Thank you!!!
Side note, or maybe not, have you noticed how much the female is worshipped in our culture now?

Judy, I believe you are deceived by the feminist spirit of the age which is nothing new. God told Eve the woman will always try to usurp the man's authority and it is running rampant today in the churches as well as the world.
