Christ-Exalting Sermon!!! I've heard many sermons on John 11 before, but this one takes a different focus. It has made my heart overflow with joy because of the love and almighty power of the Lord Jesus Christ.
The first part was such an encouragement to continue trusting God even when His ways are mysterious and hard to bear. As one who became physically disabled a year ago, this preaching on the mystery of God's ways and His seeming delays to answer our prayers and His enduring love for us has been so helpful.
And then there was wonderful preaching on resurrection, on Christ's power over sin, Satan and death. That made my heart soar to the heights!
Then at the end was a strong warning to unbelievers. Oh that the Lord would make His voice heard in the hearts of all of our unbelieving loved ones!
Thank you so much, Pastor, for this life-giving, Christ-exalting sermon.
Thanks be to God! This message powerfully uplifts the believer as Dr. Murray opens up God's truth to the seeking and overwhelmed heart. May it please our God to continue to bless you in the ministry.Thank you!
The New Covenant. Beautiful teaching from Emmanuel Reformed Baptist . Thank you.
The New Covenant is not just patching up the holes in the Old....otherwise both will be rent! New wine requires a new wineskin. The Old is obsolete, the New has come. We are dead to the Law and married to Christ - sons of God. None of this was possible under the Old Covenant. The Law could only be written on stone then, easily broken, but now we have it written in our hearts - a better Covenant indeed!
Glory be to the Son of God for the New Covenant in His blood.
Simple Yet Profound Demonstration of God's Power A simple yet profound demonstration of God's power! This testimony is also a strong encouragement and exhortation for godly parents. I hope SA has other sermons of yours. I'm going to look! Lord Jesus, thank you for giving us pastors/teachers and thank you for Pastor A.N. Martin. I pray that you bless him abundantly with many more opportunities to share your truth...even in writing and recordings after he is someday with you. Please give his children and grandchildren after him a hunger and thirst for righteousness and a holy boldness for your gospel! Amen and amen.
Great Sermon! Hi, I discovered Pastor Brian when looking for lessons on Church History. BTW that is a great series. I've listened to other sermons by him and have been greatly blessed.
I am currently listening to his series on Judges, which I am enjoying immensely. It was as I was setting up to listen to one of these sermons that I found Pastor Brian's testimony. It was wonderful to hear about who and what God used to bring him and his parents to faith in the living Jesus Christ.
Great Sermon! In preparing some points to discuss with a group,I "happed" upon this sermon by William Hughes.I never heard of him and I am blown away at the power of the Holy Ghost working through this man,Im speechless,God IS with us,speaking through men like William Hughes,I love God and how he uses regular folks like us,This fellow has been with God and God is with him and if you listen to him you will be drawn to deeper seek the "face" of God and strive to surrender in repentance daily, truly this man has an unction of God.Thank you also SermonAudio for all your efforts.
Nice to know of Selina! Thank you for your passion in presenting her story.
I didn't know of her, yet learned her life impacts mine (since I'm from Savannah and have been positively affected by Bethesda through work).
Great Sermon! Is there a difference between "difficult times" and "perilous times"? Because if there is, then that will make a difference between a right or wrong interpretation of this passage.
Great Sermon needed for today's chaos. Listened to this sermon based on "staff rec" from SermonAudio. Well worth the time! Great reminder of how the One who authored peace, gave peace to us. Thank you SermonAudio for providing this message which is so needed today.
Great Sermon! This message has been a great blessing for my life. Many years ago I often thought of the meekness of my Lord Jesus Christ. It is the perfect time for me to hear this message, since the environment that surrounds me today, is so hostile.
Perfect timing, complete subjugation and with His power and strength will be easier for me to follow the example of my Lord.Thank you!
Great Sermon! Can we have some constructive criticism without interpreting it as a personal attack? I Was just never able to conclude that situational dichotomies are drawn between love and the truth in a reading of 1 Cor. 13. Love without the truth is either compromise, accomodation, or altogether impossible. Faith, love, hope and truth come as a package. Paul's language in 1 Cor 13 is hypothetical. John 1 speaks of the Word, the Logos, the divine expression, which is truth and is Christ. God is love and God is truth. He is not one or the other.
