Great Sermon! Another enriching message. Thank God! May we all find the courage and be ready at all times to stand for Christ wherever we may find ourselves no matter the cost. Amen
Great Sermon! Listened again, challenged again, restored again. Solomon experienced the same Pentecostal power as the disciples in the upper room when the fire of God came upon them. Acts2 vs1_4
Great Sermon! Jim Lincoln stated
"Rome has denied the sufficiency and efficacy of Christ’s shed blood to expiate sin by adding a religious system of sacraments, purgatory, indulgences, and the bloodless sacrifice of the Mass."
I believe Christians are just as guilty adding or detracting from the Word of God by acknowledging Christmas, Easter SUNRISE services, New Year's Watch Night services, birthdays (the child should honor the parents), etc.
We have sinned and are still sinning. We don't really believe God.
We just keep praying to be delivered from our afflictions; which are mounting.
Great Sermon! My what a blessing to hear the truth as to why the professing church has failed, but not the true Church of the living God, the gates of hell will never prevail against it.
What a message! So blessed is an understatement. Everyone both new believers and "old believers" should listen. Must share! Thank you Father for using your servant so powerfully in delivering this message.
Great Sermon! A wonderful tribute to a great woman of God. I know the Father said, well done, good and faithful servant." Thank you for this great tribute.
Great Sermon! It's about time someone defines "first love" properly. Many nowadays put an undue burden on believers by making love, which is to be above all, sound like it is to be to the exclusion of all, and sometimes they use this passage to justify their assertions. Thank you Dr. Cairns for getting this right.
Great Sermon! Very interesting sermon on the reformation and the strengths and weaknesses of the reformers and trying to understand the failures we see in the context. Will probably think differently about the reformers after this although my concern is their antisemitism. Thank you for a very interesting sermon.
Informative The topic might deserve a further sequence about Wycliffe's struggles with the religious establishment and the protection from John of Gaunt, in the context vividly represented in some of Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales as The Pardoner's tale, The Wife of Bath’s Tale, or The Summoner's tale
When the ecclesiastical calendar highlights major events in the life of our Saviour it can only be a good thing to remember and meditate upon them. I applaud FFPC for celebrating the first day of the week that saw the Lord Jesus give Himself as the perfect and only sacrifice for the sins of His people. In the U.K. we hear very little about Palm Sunday. May God bless your day and bring glory to the name of Jesus.
Great Sermon! This is a very sobering message and at the same time very faith inspiring. My favourite line was - I don't believe that we just sit here and wait for the rapture God will do what he has always been doing - raising up men and women for Christ.
Psalm 78
Without overlooking any good intentions behind evangelical practice, events like this signals the reliance of present churches on the ecclesiastical calendar
