Thank you, brother Lee, for that sincere burden you have shared tonight in the prayer meeting. May God bless you, and all that pray in this same spirit along you
"with the lowly is wisdom" Pro.11:2
"I will look, ... to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembles at my word" Is 66:2
"Hear the word of the LORD, ye that tremble at his word; ... he shall appear to your joy, ..."
I can't help leaving another message after listening to the morning service this past Sunday. Really love it.
What is interesting is that the pastor in my Shanghai church also preached the message of loving God with our whole heart, our whole mind, and our whole will. It was really touching. Also, he encouraged us to try our best to love the Lord.
God is great. We are all weak sinners but only His word can change us and hold us fast.
Finally, want to let Pastor Mercer know that I am praying for him when I think about FFPC.
God is good. We'll never regret about what we've done for Him when we eventually meet Him that day.
Good Morning, Thank you Pastor Mercer for this mornings message. I was having difficulty getting through until I tried "Alternate Streaming" This was unusual but I was so grateful it worked. I felt very convicted toward the end of the sermon as I had begun to let my mind wander off from the message. Thank you for bringing me back with your clear conscience convicting urging. You may know that the severe winter storms that blanketed the mid-west States made their way up to southern Ontario overnight. Many churches in the area had to cancel services, including the Toronto Free Presbyterian Church, and our own Church, Hope Assembly.
My wife and I were able to listen to your webcast this morning at home, and though we did not get any visual images, the audio was clear and strong. We greatly appreciated hearing your Gospel sermon from Zechariah 9. May our Triune God mightily use you and your people in proclaiming our Lord Jesus Christ by this and other means.
Yours in our faithful Saviour,
Rev. John Peter Bodner - Hope Assembly, Mississauga, ON, Canada.
Greetings to our friends at Faith FPC in the Name of the LORD Jesus Christ. We were so happy to witness the dedication of the precious Habegger child this morning. We will be praying for you, Dyke, your wife and your little boy, Asher Eli (did we get the name right?). Also, we were blessed by your sermon, Dyke, on the subject of His power to accomplish all His holy will in those things which seem to be "impossible". Truly, with God, all things are possible! You have encouraged us so much! See you at the evening service.
Praise the Lord! I tuned in last week just to see if I could catch anything at all, and I was thrilled to find the service being broadcast in audio only for us still in the dinosaur age of dialup! I wonder if it would be possible to post the sermons for these weeks while Dr Cairns is away also? I forgot this morning and tuned in late as I will have to get into the habit. What I heard was very good! and last week as well! I missed the ones the week previous. BLESS you all!
