“ God's Protoype of True Manhood: Jesus ” This message is a stirring call to follow the true prototype of manhood: Jesus Christ. This sermon is not to be missed!
“ Great Grappling! ” I am very blessed to hear this right before I sleep. I plan on a "grappling sleep" with God and already looking forward to new mercies in the morning! God Blessings are upon you David and the wisdom of God in this insightful teaching! Thank you for you faithfulness to do it.
“ A Masterful Call to Arms! ” In this masterful sermon, Tim Bourgeois reminds us of Paul's exhortation to be ready for battle in Ephesians 6. Tim then explains what Paul meant by “the flaming arrows” of the enemy, discusses the crafty stratagems of our enemy, and illustrates how to use effectively the weapon God has given us.
“ Excellent distinctions ” While I have some quibbles with this sermon, it is an excellent exposition of the distinctions between betrothal and 'engagement'; contrasting the Biblical nature of the first with the modern wimpiness of the second. And then illustrating this with the example of Christ himself.
“ Extremely Important--Will Save Lives!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ” In this timely and superb sermon Tim Bourgeois provides a biblical foundation to explain why this financial crisis is unfolding and then 7 biblical principles to help all of us respond in a way pleasing to God. This sermon needs to be shared with many others, and I would urge all those who listen to it to speak out in their churches.
Two points I would like to add: First, this crisis unfolded because our society has ignored God's warnings of the danger of debt and tragically many churches have been complicit in their tolerance of the credit industry and their usurious practices that have enslaved an entire generation.
Second, the waning biblical influence has led to a cultural/business shift from a willingness to work hard and manufacture products to serve others to now a desire for quick and easy money through financial speculation which now accounts for 20-30% of America's GDP.
Past empires (Spanish, Dutch, and British) followed a similar pattern and America's future is dire unless we repent before our God. It is time to study the lessons of history and to immerse ourselves in God's word, and then to fight with all our might to help others and to advance God's kingdom.
“ Enlightening! ” A wonderful sermon. The Lord has really opened my eyes in so many areas since I started listening. May God continue to bless this ministry.
