Great Sermon! Another tremendous sermon in which Mr. Culver "coagulates the scriptures". By this I mean he shows how God both 1) fulfilled His promises literally (at that place in human history), AND 2) how all the scriptures testify of, and ultimately has its fulfillment in Christ!. If you want to understand God's revealed Truth, listen to this man teach it. God gifts some men to preach, and Kit certainly is one of them. Praise God!
Great Sermon! Another great example of what a gifted pastor/teacher can share in just one sermon. Mr. Culver repeatedly connects all of scripture showing HOW it all points to Christ - what Good News!
Great Sermon! An evangelistic message ALL men can understand AND a convicting message for all believers too! Listen one and all. Deny yourself, live for God, by faith (In Him), THE truth.
Great Sermon! Great series on Book of John! How blessed to have Kit Culver as our Pastor. Kit devotes himself to our Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ! His time alone with God is very apparent! Thank you!
Great Sermon! Every Christian should hear the last 12 minutes of this sermon (starting at minute 52) AND his closing prayer. Continue to speak truth under-sheppard!
Great Sermon! Obedience - Is it following "the rules" or following "Right" Doctrine? Is it self-sacrifice "for God"? What is it? Listen, and then search the scriptures to see if "it" is so.
Great Sermon! Wow, so much meat in just one sermon - much to consider and to search the scriptures to see if it is so. As I have done so with many previous K. C. sermons, the scriptures become more cohesive, more seamless, more clear. Some men are gifted by God to preach and teach! Enjoy.
Great Sermon! this man is gifted to coagulate the scriptures! What an overview of redemptive history (in just one sermon, that focuses on just a couple words in Romans 1) - wow. Listen, you will be blessed! Most of us know little about the Old Testament and even less about the prophets (especially the 12 minors). In one sermon Mr. Culver connects Genesis 3 and Genesis 15, 2nd Samuel, 1 Chronicals, Isaiah, the Psalms, the Prophets, Romans 1, and Luke 1 - ALL showing the Bible's seamless Redemptive Revelation. If you like the sermon listen to his 3 introductory sermons on the book of Zechariah. You might learn more about the Old Testament than you know thus far!
Great Sermon! Again Kit explains how all the scriptures point to, and have their fulfillment in, Christ! Hear how this oft-recited verse is connected to Genesis, Exodus, the O.T. prophets, the gospels, Paul's writings and Revelation! Oh our Glorious God, illuminated to us by His Glorious Spirit, using His God-breathed Word, explained to us thru vessels of clay gifted to teach and preach. Praise God!
Great Sermon! A must listen for all bible-believing, Berean, Christ followers. It gloriously connects the OT and NT and clarifies the Old Testament prophets! Zion vs. Jerusalem - have you ever wondered about the difference?
Great Sermon! The ending puts Hebrews chapter 11 into its context. All 62 sermons in Kit's "God With Us" series are worthy of your listen - thank you brother! I look forward to listening to more of your sermons and thank God that I stumbled on this series.
Validate your Christianity! Wonderful attachment to the Christian litmus test: 1 John 4:8 But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
Great Sermon! Great teaching. I really enjoyed the background from the Old Testament and references and comments on Isaiah as you are opening up John Chp 6. It was enlightening in your comment "Inscripturated Torah has become Incarnated Torah" and "In Him Israel's God has shown Himself faithful to Israel..." Good stuff.
Great Sermon! What an interesting and informative background that you have opened up that is going to lead to the Samaritan woman's encounter with Jesus at the well. It now makes a lot of sense to me and what an amazing God who keeps His Promises in our Saviou . Will be listening this sermon again to take it all in.
