Great Sermon! oh boy, what a message for today's Christianity. We see all over the internet Christians doing the very thing spoken of in this sermon. They fight over all kinds of things, including bible translations, keeping the law, psalms only, and on and on and on it goes. Satan is having a field day causing division within professing Christianity. What's even worse, MOST are above rebuke, thinking themselves to be fine and dandy, never in need of correction. We need to heed the words of Charles Spurgeon - And are you proud?
Do you exalt yourself?
O! strange mystery, that you who have nothing but sin and misery, should exalt yourself!
That you, a poor dependent pensioner upon the bounty of your Savior, should be proud!
Go, hang your pride upon the gallows as high as Haman! Hang it there to rot, and execrate it to all eternity!
Surely of all things most to be despised--is the pride of a Christian. He, of all men, has ten thousand times more reason than any other to be humble, and walk lowly with his God, and kindly and meekly toward his fellow-creatures.
"By the grace of God I am what I am!" 1 Corinthians 15:10
How terribly lacking this is in our day
Another timely message, to God be all glory
Great Sermon! What a great message! IF we, who understand we are saved by grace, if we would just ignore the 'Pharisees' who use Christian forums to push their high ivory tower ways and their superiority and 'self worth', their list of rules, their condescending comments posted with back door jabs,If we would not respond, we would be a LOT better off! We are sinners, even the best 'Pharisee' is a vile sinner! May we never, ever forget, 'by grace, I am what I am'. Praise our glorious Lord Jesus Christ for this magnificent message
Great Sermon! Thrilled, lost In wonder love and praise that I am called to be a son of God and that in the Son of God I am seen as sinless
Pure and undefiled. Hallelujah what a God and saviour.
Great Sermon! Good word brother! I'd like to know where the Trinity is revealed in genesis. You said it's there many times. And I believe it! But please site them. Even text if you will, I think iron will always sharpen iron, as spoken. 309-349-7482
Great Sermon! It was a joy to hear your message this morning. This is exactly what I have been preaching for many years, in churches all over the world. It is, however, foreign to the thinking of the average church. Please keep it up. I took the liberty to feature this message on our website so that others can hear. Well done, brother. www.proclaimit.org
Confusing I must admit that this sermon was all over the place. By God's grace I am going to review this coming Sunday. The TWO main points of this sermon should have been: 1 - We should not lose heart because of All that God has done and 2 - we don't lose heart by holding fast to our faith in what God has done.
Not so simple and I did not get it through very well.
Great Sermon! Pastor thank you for another great message every week i find myself challenged and convicted by the Holy Spirit when you are preaching Gods Word I thank God for your zeal and passion to see us walk in the truth!
