Great Sermon! Thank you for another fantastic sermon that is so purposeful. After hearing this message, I feel assured that I am definitely on the right path. It is called "sifting". It is described as God disciplining those HE loves the most". So therefore, I will not feel abandoned, weird, sinful, being punished. But on the contrary, appreciative that HE wants to use me. I have a purpose in HIM!

God's timing is ALWAYS perfect! Jeff, again you have brought God's Word to me personally exactly at the right time! God's timing is ALWAYS perfect! I praise Him for allowing you to be a part of my life during these trials that we endure on this walk with Him!
Great Explanation! Again Jeff hits it out of the park! He does a great job not only explaining Daniel's 2300 day prophesy, but the time of 1000 years rest in Revelation. Remember this is part of his "Ask Jeff" series, so this is the second question of the night.
Great Sermon! I am a retired school teacher of 40 years and I listen to at least one of your sermons DAILY. Thanks for the wisdom through the Word.
Great Sermon! Jeff, again God used you to speak His Word! This was such a timely sermon considering the times we are living! Thank you and keep preaching!!
Erm! The reason why apocalyptic language is used in Matt 24 and not in 1 Thess is because, whilst the same event, Jesus and Paul are addressing different issues. The disciples asked what are the "signs" of his coming, whereas Paul is merely comforting regarding the dead in Christ. There is no need for Paul to elucidate about the tribulation. Further, the Parousia of Christ appears in both passages. It is the same event.
Another weak argument for the pre-trib position based on conjecture. The post-trib position has lots of direct scriptural support. Matt 24 etc. Paul himself explicitly ties the 2nd Coming and the rapture together after antichrist is revealed (2 Thess 2:1-4). The resurrection occurs on the last day (John 6), at the last trump (1 Cor 15) after the tribulation (Rev 20:6). Note the word thief in 1 Thess 5. Paul tells the church to watch for the Day of the Lord which comes as a thief. In Rev 16:15 we find Jesus still has not come as a thief right at the end of the tribulation. All this ties together to make evidence for a post-trib rapture overwhelming. Unless you want to believe there are 2 last days, 2 last trumps, 2 raptures,Jesus comes as a thief twice. If pre-trib were true, Jesus would have said so, simple as that.
Great Sermon! Hey Traci! I am not finding several mp3 on this site. You just finished ch 7, of which I could not find any pdf file for the notes. In the beginning of that you stated you had done ch 8-9, which i have but no notes available on it either, ch 10 some of 11 and ch 15-16. None of these are available and of course no notes either. I am still loving the series but I need it all...Please help! Can you email when this has been corrected? Thanks, Julie
Great Sermon! Hey I didn't see on the SermonAudio the notes for REV4-5. Can you either post them like you did for the previous 2 weeks. Or Traci, you can email it to me which would preferable to me. Thank you...I'm lovin it!
Enjoying the study! Enjoying the Revelation study! Keep up the good work! One comment I have is that Luther, while he did a great work, (although I wish he had come out farther from the Catholic denomination and the Luthern church MIGHT be headed for Heaven instead of following the rules of confirmation for their salvation) did not produce the Baptist denomination. We are not a product of the Reformation! We were there since the apostles! We were the ones the Catholic church persecuted. Luther's reformation produced the Luthern, Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and the Church of Christ.
