Very clear and concise sermon It is so refreshing to hear your clear presentation. What a blessing to have your sermons available for all to listen to on SermonAudio.
Helpful Sermon! As Christ was preached my heart was directed in loving the Lord Jesus more. Thank you for making the glory of Jesus shine bright in our dark age. We need this often.
Great Sermon! Thanks for the helpful sermon. This was a very heartfelt and well organized/explained summary of a biblical approach to disciplining - including several comments regarding how young that can begin. I was looking for a sermon to give family members trying to understand what my wife and I are doing with our son, and this is perfect. Thanks!
Great Sermon, especially for young couples with children It is wonderful and so comforting to know that our God made us for Himself and had ordered our lives so that we would know Him forever, even from the womb.
Great call to holy living. We are in this world, but we are not of this world, but our citizenship is in heaven. So we must manifest this reality in our lives, living heavenly lives here amongst people. We must not allow our hearts to be enamored with the things of this world.
Very useful. Very good message and warning, presenting the good things in the "New Calvinist" movement and the wrong things: the pragmatism which tends to commercialize the Gospel, the tendency to make show, to adopt the music style of the world, the incipient Antinomianism and ecumenism, the turn to the charismatic stress on the supernatural gifts.
Relevant, Timely Message! This is a very important message, and perhaps for the first time the subject of New Calvinism is openly and formally warned against on American soil, and among Reformed Baptists, which is most proper. This must be heard as he openly reveals and speaks about not only the practices and examples, but the doctrines of John Piper and others (who are quoted often, and held up in almost celebrity fashion) that are contrary to sound, orthodox Christian teachings, particularly of those of the Reformed and Calvinistic faith which they claim to represent.
Great Sermon! Does the U.S. Constitution guaranty freedom of worship, or freedom of religion? Does God care about the righteousness of a nation? Great sermon on Proverbs 14:34! I recommend it!
Excellent! What a blessing! This sermon teaches true forgiveness. This story of Joseph has always been a favorite and I never tire of hearing it preached in TRUTH. We as Christians need to have this type of forgiveness toward others. God bless Brother Lush as he continues.
Great Sermon! I was greatly blessed by this message. I was there at the retreat. Even though I was edified by it when I went there, I am so grateful for this website and that you put this message up. I find that when the Holy Spirit is in the preaching of his word, you can't get tired of hearing the same message over and over again. For indeed I find that when I hear the message a fresh, I learn something new, or should I say its like I get something new that I may have missed when I heard it the first time. Thank you for sharing it with us, and for inviting us to Youth Group.
Great Sermon! Pastor Martin has represented for years a doctrinal clarity, reverence and humanity in preaching which is always refreshing to hear. Thanks for this post.I recommend it.
Great Sermon! Thank you so much for preaching a message that seems to have gotten lost in Christiandom. In the face of prosperity doctrine, and feel good christianity, this is a wake up message that the Christ walk should not be easy and if it is, we may be in error somewhere. Nevertheless is sometimes hard to say, but Lord, put a nevertheless wayyyy down in our spirit!!!
Great Testimony! What a great testimony of God's prevenient grace at work. I'll share it with a friend who played in a rock band when he was younger.
