It is far better to be with Christ than to be here, may our Lord be with those left here, for now, that both grieve the loss of a loved one and rejoice that he is with the Lord Jesus Christ. Praise God Henry Mahan was a faithful man of God til the end. He has heard from his Master, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord."
“ Great Sermon! ” Great message, great reminder of the times in which we live. Yes, Paul's words to Timothy are very relevant for this present day. "People accusing one another", that is so true, especially among 'Christians'. Yes, the sin of pride is a sin God hates.
Life changing, walk changing, mind changing - yes - that is the threefold result of true, genuine repentance given and worked by God in His elect.

Yes, our greatest enemy is self- what a profound truth. Here is what William Tiptaft said, "The way to heaven is narrow, and beset with many difficulties, and we, at times, are almost sorry that we ever ventured out, especially when we keep

But nothing so much checks and stops us as vile self!
It cleaves to everything on the way, and wants so often to turn us out of the way."
Oh for the Lord of glory to make a reality of this truth in our hearts!
“ Great Sermon! ” Timely message. We know of the vileness of the RCC, but let's not forget about the hirelings that are in the 'Reformed' camps, and they are many. These celebrity type evangelicals have huge followings, their 'fans' defend them, even when their sins are exposed. We are definitely in perilous times,they are so perilous because of these hirelings. May God's true preachers remain faithful until the end.
“ biblically sound ” This message is biblically centered; so many insist God loves all, and died for all. His holiness is almost an afterthought in this day. The almighty, sovereign God of the universe is the 'unknown god' to most who profess to be religious.
Others insist weather related happenings are not God's wrath, yet the bible is clear, God controls the weather.
Many great points are addressed in this sermon, points that aren't spoken of much today.
