Great Sermon! Always like Pastor Jeff's passion for preaching the truth. I have associated Satan's deception with worldly desires and never thought about how he deceives people in thinking they are saved but in reality are not.
Outstanding Sermon! This message gives us a true understanding of who God is and how we should glorify Him. I love the deep examples and details given in this message. It shows the True God who is our Father to His Children.
Revealing Sermon! This message gets to the heart of the matter of True Salvation. It peels away all the layers of falseness that many churches are preaching and instead shows that Grace and Faith in Jesus Christ is our gift and we have nothing righteous in any work we think we must do. This sermon should be preached regularly but sadly is not, and most people are not truly "born again."
Great Sermon! I just wanted to say that I have listened to Pastor Noblit for years and have received much out of his sermon's. I have never heard much detail on this scripture and it was very convicting. Thank you.
Great Sermon! Thank you for addressing this issue. Hit me right where I needed it when you said if you stress in these areas you will miss Jesus. Dont get me wrong, I am saved, but time in thought in these areas robs joy in my daily walk. For me its not so much choosing 'higher' standards... I hate that phrase. I choose the more careful standards. I love this saying; are you living so that you will be accepted by Christ, or because you were accepted by Christ. My standards are careful not to earn merit, but because of what He did for me. I don't want to be found a stumbling block, eyes are always watching. Love limited liberty in Christ. Thanks again.
Strong Sermon! This message focuses on the need for discernment especially in these last days, as false teaching is growing in most churches. There are very good examples on how we need to be strong in the Gospel.
Powerful Sermon! This message is a blessing to True Christians. We all should know that salvation is of God and not of our doing. Too many churches have never preached this truth and people are living under false belief. This message is filled with rich spiritual nuggets.
Revealing Sermon! Our salvation was determined in eternity past, and this message gives us good insight as to the process. As Christians we have to give all Glory to God's Grace for doing this to us. Great message and will give us strength.
Hallelujah! What a Savior! A timely word from our Heavenly Father to my soul! Praise God for speaking through you, brother Jeff.
A wonderful testimony of Spirit-empowered, biblically-faithful preaching that brings the truth of God's Word to bear on the mind and heart.
Mighty sinners find sweet relief from their thirst, brokenness and weariness, in turning to an infinitely mighty Savior!
Amen! Amen! Brother Jeff, praise and thank God for calling and empowering you to preach the clear unvarnished truth of God's precious Word!
Was praying for God to speak unto my heart for assurance of salvation and I trust He's done that graciously through you.
The focus, as and always, is Christ from first to last. Salvation is of the Lord, and if for one instance I ever look to myself I'd have no hope.
It's the strength of the object of faith that saves, not the strength of faith!
Thanks so much, brother.
Amen!
interesting sermon You make a lot of valid points in this sermon but have left me with a couple of questions. First, are you saying that we have to be regenerated BEFORE the Holy Spirit works in our lives? And second are we not quickened or regenerated SO THAT. We can hear the call, so that we will respond to the call, and so that we will believe when the call comes?
In other words, do we have to accept and believe, to have the Holy Spirit work in our lives, or does the Holy Spirit come up on us, regenerate or quicken us, (save us)so that we have the faith to believe?
I have asked these question of many a pastor, and have had them trivialized repeatedly. But have found the answers to be profound in showing me what pastor believe and teach.
Thank you
