Good Message If you like this one you'll also like "The Spiritual Development of Children" here on SermonAudio.com by Pastor TJ Hawkins, both can be a blessing to many lives.
Hentagraf I'm sure I haven't spelled his name right. "The Bible Answer Man" (Hank) in a slam against Jack Chick seems to mock the idea that the Great Whore Church is akin to Romanism. The more I listen to this guy (I hear him on my commute home) I believe he is dangerous! ? Don
MacArthur on End Times John MacArthur wrote forward...Very relevant study in light of his recent message that has caused so much debate. Check out this well written and methodical look at what the Bible says about Israel and the "End of Days." Dr. Barnett has produced another gem!
Great School (Sermons)! Thanks. I am very happy for this privilege to use this serviec you have made available. Plese continue to allow me to use this service. Thanks again. May God richly bless you.
Timely sermon for Hurricane Katrina! This sermon very well explains how this recent natural disaster, Hurricane Katrina, may indeed have been an act of Divine judgment.
I beleive we should be watching these events closely and prayerfully. The Lord is nigh!
Great Sermon! It's really amazing if you think about it. God could be using natural disasters and storms to judge America. What a great sermon - thank you Dr. Barnett - this one really made me think about current events.
Hair Raising Sermon! I listened to this twice, it was so disturbing. About 10 minutes into the sermon, Dr. Barnett takes you to through what a human being likely experiences a few moments into hell and then what he or she will go through, in vivid detail, as the seasons pass. Frankly, I have never heard such a presentation like this -- it really forces you to think about hell as more than just a topic in the bible. The reality of hell and how tragic it will be,and why, for those who are there are presented here in the most clearest, biblically-solid fashion I've ever heard. Listen to it and you will feel small--small that God has spared you from hell and then you will consider those who do not know Christ and you will pray for them with sincerity -- that God would save them like He has saved you. And Dr. Barnett accomplishes this without yelling, pounding his first or using other rhetorical devices. He presents this awful truth just from Scripture, in a plain tone so that we see (I guess) that this subject doesn't need added emotionalism, just the plain teaching of Scripture. This isn't a popular subject, but as Dr. Barnett says, "Our thoughts of hell will never be as unmanageable as its reality." This one should be listened to/downloaded by everyone who visits this site. It is very sobering.
Great Sermon! This sermon is so powerful. I have played it at our Home Group, I've given copies to family members and friends who are praying for salvation for various people.
I played it at our Covenant Keepers group where many of us are praying for salvation for our lost spouses.
The concept of praying God's will as specified in scripture is an essential for praying for the lost, and John Barnett puts us on the right track in this regard. It is not exhaustive, and the concept can be readily be added to.

Great Series! This "Disciplines of a Godly Life" series is wonderful. In fact, every sermon I have heard from Dr. Barnett so far is very edifying. If I ever have a reason to travel to Tulsa, I will definitely visit his church. Don't miss these sermons, and check out the church's website as well! May God continue to bless his ministry.
Another very good message from John Barnett John's messages should not be missed by SermonAudio.com users!
